Intel's 13th and 14th Gen Processor Flaws Lead to Gaming Instability and Potential Damage

Reports have emerged highlighting issues with Intel's 13th and 14th-generation processors. According to information from the manufacturer, these stability problems might result in irreversible damage, prompting game developers to include cautionary notes within their games.

One notable example comes from Alderon Games, the creators of Path of Titans. Should the game encounter a crash, a warning message is displayed. This notification checks if the player's system runs on one of the troublesome processors and suggests that the CPU might be the cause of the error.

Intel has indicated that the stability problems stem from a microcode that dispatches incorrect requests, which consequently raises the operating voltage. They are actively developing a corrective update, but this solution won't reverse the damage already done to affected processors.

They recently approached Intel for clarification, but the company either could not or chose not to provide specific information regarding the extent of processor damage or intentions to halt sales.
